After a slight wind came through the place today, July 12th, we discovered one of the trees in Rumor's paddock had come down. I am not sure what damage there is to the top of the support beam on Barn Two. I will have a better idea in the morning. I can't get the chain saw working so I will be up on the roof with a good old fashioned manual saw. At least the limbs are not very wide. The base of the tree, however, is larger. I'll get someone with a 'working' chainsaw to come and cut that up. Which they can take in lieu of payment. Andy, Lucky, and Flip enjoyed the inspection tour. And Flip had a lot to say about the whole thing. Either that or he was requesting that I stop worrying about the tree and get him his dinner! LOL!
